I started this site to keep everyone up to date on the plans for next May in Lewistown. The details so far.
Grandma's actual birthday is
Sunday, May 25 (only 7 months away) and we would like to have as many of her family as can make it celebrate the day with her. I'm hoping we can use this space in the future to share what will be happening that weekend and times we can spend together, but for planning purposes now, the actual party will be Sunday afternoon on May 25. What that party consists of is yet to be determined, but getting a date set is the first step.
I'm assuming each of you will be talking with your immediate families to figure out how and when you will be getting to Lewistown, and I completely understand that not everyone will be able to make it (graduations, new babies, new jobs, and distance are all factors) but for those of you who can make it, we have two options for accomodations.
The Duvall Inn (Grandma, Helen, and Thyra approved) has five guest room each with full bath and private outside entrance. They are $78 per room per night. The gathering room includes a fireplace, seating, a usable STEINWAY, restrooms. Tent or camper camping is available FREE,( no hookups) and breakfast only a dollar or two for all who want to do so. Bath facilities are always available from any family member's room at no extra charge. - Reservations can be made by calling 406-538-7063
Jan has also been kind enough to reserve rooms at the
Yogo Inn in Lewistown.
1 queen bed---$80.00 per night for 2 adults---children stay free.
2 queen beds--$90.00 per night """""""""""""" """""""""
They have an indoor pool and hot tub, fitness room, etc. Roll-away-beds, cribs are also available.

I assume your family is like mine and no one is sure who is doing what, so I have started a list (over on the right) of who has confirmed they will be coming and who is staying where so that you can plan accordingly to either stay near your parents/grandparents/favorite aunt, or avoid them as you wish. Can you please let me know (by leaving a comment or
e-mailing me ) when you know if you will be coming and where you'll be staying so I can keep this updated.
